Merchants Grocery Company prides itself in its efficient and state of the art warehouse. We enjoy the challenges of keeping up with the changing demands of today’s customer base. Our goal is to provide the highest level of quality service available.
With over 27 acres of land, we have the ability to expand our warehouse as needed. We currently employ 151 people. In addition we maintain a fleet of 28 straight trucks and 5 tractor trailers that cover over 900,000 miles per year. Our warehouse operates on 3 shifts; 1 day shift to receive and slot merchandise, 2 shifts to select and load orders. MGC uses a multi-slot system which designates pick slots and overstock slots.
Our ultimate goal is to satisfy our customers with the best quality products and service available, and as a team, we are prepared to meet that challenge daily.
